Hi, I’m the lovely SIMI. Found at Onrus Caravan Park as a tiny stray kitten, I’m still at HAWS over 1 and a half years later. I don’t know what it’s like to have a home of my own. It’s funny because I’m one of the most homely cats you’ll meet. I love humans, am very friendly and will happily jump on a lap. Once on a lap I’ll reward you with purrs , I also do this quirky thing where I put my face down and butt up and drool with delight, especially when you talk to me and give me lots of tickles. I can’t get enough love and have never bitten or scratched a human. I’m gentle and sweet, and also have so much personality. Bonus is I look like a little lion cub. I’d make the best cuddle buddy and companion. Please consider adopting me!

A very sweet, affectionate cat. When on your lap you can pet and massage her for ages, she cannot get enough. Very gentle and gets along with cats, will even share a lap. Quirky, cute and relaxed and will fit into any loving household.- Date

A very gentle soft girl. Would do great in a quiet home as she is still quite nervouse with loud noises and too many people. She enjoys the company of cats. She is playful and would appreciate an interactive game, this together with treats will form a strong bond. She is one of our longest residents being at HAWS for just over 2 years, she came in as a stray from Sandbaai.- Date

Lovable, confident guy. Enjoys playing and snuggling. Has a cheeky side but it is all in good fun. Would make a good play mate for another playful cat but also a great companion for a human! Came in 4 months ago as a stray who was being fed at Mariner's Village,- Date

Very easy-going guy. Minds his own business and you will usually find him sleeping in a cat tree or wall box. He enjoys being brushed and stroked. Slightly more quite and shy cat but not scared. Was surrendered from Paradice Park a year ago.- Date

A confident, feisty but sweet lady with a soft nurturing side. She is friendly and outgoing. Is also energetic and would do well with space and outdoors. She loves humans, will happily sit on a lap and will give kisses. Had had multiple litters of kittens and was rescued 4 months ago with her litter from Mount Pleasant.- Date

An affectionate Calico who also enjoys an interactive game. One of the few cats that doesn't mind being carried around. Gets along with other cats. She came in as a nursing mom surrendered from Zwelihle and has been at HAWS for 6 months.- Date

A lovely ginger and white female, approximately three and a half years old. She is extremely affectionate and will happily snuggle on your lap the whole day if she could! A very gentle and friendly girl. She was a stray, trapped on Hamilton Russel farm and has been at HAWS for 1 month.- Date

Our current longest resident being at HAWS for just over 3 years. Would love a home of his own! He is a very relaxed, cool guy. You will find him sleeping his in the same spot in the sun everyday. He will shine in a home of his own.
